More than lessons: the whole teaching cycle
Placement to certificate, with the tools in between.
Adaptive placement test
New students start with a short test that adjusts to their answers, so you know their CEFR level before the first lesson and can place them in the right class.
Unit checks and end-of-level exams
717 ready-made tests, shuffled for fairness, with drag-and-drop or typed answers.
Writing tasks
Set a task, mark it against a four-criteria rubric that says what is expected at the student's level.
Speaking tasks
Students record in the browser (or type if they can't). You listen and mark. Recordings are deleted after 30 days.
CEFR certificates anyone can verify
Students who pass and attend enough earn a CEFR level certificate; others receive a certificate of attendance. Every certificate has a serial number that can be checked on the website. Your rules, your thresholds.
Attendance registers
Mark present, late, absent or excused in seconds. Attendance feeds progression rules automatically.
Whiteboard and thirteen games
Write and draw for the whole class, then play word match, bingo, team race, spelling bee and more. Choose the levels, length, time and teams; the questions come from a bank of over 110,000.
Listening in real accents
Lesson texts read aloud in British, American, Australian and other voices.
Classes, courses and bulk import
Give each class a course by its standard code. Add a whole class from a spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions
How can I plan English lessons faster?
Lex360 gives you a ready-made lesson and a teacher lesson plan for every lesson in the library: aims, anticipated problems with solutions, a stage-by-stage procedure with timings, and concept-checking questions. You open the lesson, read the plan, and teach.
Which levels and courses are included?
Every CEFR level from A0 to C1, in 67 courses: full curricula (General English, Business English, vocational English), skills courses, grammar and vocabulary, core school subjects, and preparation courses for IELTS, TOEFL and WIDA ACCESS. Every course has its own standard course code so you can find and assign it quickly.
Does homework really mark itself?
Yes for questions with a right answer: multiple choice, gap-fill, word order, matching and true/false are marked instantly, and each answer comes with an explanation. Writing and speaking are marked by the teacher against a CEFR-aligned rubric, and writing can optionally use an AI suggestion that the teacher must approve.
Can I run placement tests and end-of-level exams?
Yes. An adaptive placement test finds a new student's level, unit checks follow each unit, and end-of-level exams decide who moves up. Teachers can allow drag-and-drop or typed word-order answers, and shuffle questions and answers to keep tests fair.
How does Lex360 track student progress?
You see who has handed in work, scores by skill and level, which questions the class found hardest, attendance registers, and pathways that show whether a class is ahead of or behind its course calendar.
Does Lex360 issue certificates?
Yes. Students who reach the pass mark and the attendance rule earn a CEFR level certificate, and others receive a certificate of attendance. Each certificate has a serial number anyone can check on the website. The thresholds (90 percent and 95 percent by default) are yours to change.
Is it suitable for schools as well as private tutors?
Yes. Tutors can start on a free plan; schools and colleges get several teachers, classes, bulk student import, administrator controls and a clear picture across the whole school. Teachers see only the students linked to them.
Where is student data stored, and is it safe?
Data is hosted in Frankfurt, each school's data is separated from everyone else's inside the database, passwords are never stored in readable form, and we do not sell data or show advertising. Students can request their data or ask for their account to be deleted.
